have many holidays in Ukraine. People like celebrating the New Year, Christmas,
the Women’s Day, Easter and May Day.
We
celebrate the New Year on the thirty-first of December. People decorate the New
Year tree, dance, sing and get presents. On the 8th of March we give
presents to our mothers, grandmothers, sisters and teachers. In spring we have
Easter. On this day people make cakes, paint eggs and go to the church.
