SAVE OUR PRECIOUS PLANET ! 
(Unit 15)

Our planet is so precious! We have lived on Earth for thousands of years. It has taken care of us, but have we really taken care of our wonderful planet?

We have polluted our rivers, seas and lakes. We have thrown rubbish from our towns and cities into the oceans. We have also poured chemicals from our factories into our beautiful rivers and seas. This has killed millions of fish and other water animals and plants. We have polluted the air with chemicals from our cars and factories. This has caused serious health problems for thousands of people all over the world. We have cut down thousands and thousands of our planet's trees, most of them in tropical rainforests. This has killed a large number of animals and plants and they have disappeared forever. It has also caused flooding in many areas.

We’ve got to stop now, before it’s too late! We mustn’t forget that planet Earth is our home! We must protect it!

To my dear pupils of the 4th form

A DAY TO REMEMBER (Un 12)

What’s one of the best days of your life? My 10^th birthday was a day to remember. As soon as I woke up I jumped out of bed. First I got dressed and ran quickly to the living room. As I came into the room, I saw my mother and father talking quietly together. They saw me and smiled at me: “Happy Birthday, darling! You can have your present after you eat your breakfast.” They handed me a very small box, I saw that it was a dog’s lead there. Suddenly a small black dog ran into the kitchen. I was so excited! It was the best birthday of my life!

Компьютер - мій помічник у викладанні англійської мови

У гімназії, де я викладаю англійську мову для школярів початкової ланки, ми працюємо з навчальними комплексами “Backpack”, “Get Set Go” у 1 класі, “Welcome 1, 2, 3” у 2, 3 та 4 класі. До підручників, окрім робочого зошиту, додається ще аудіо диск, який використовується учнями для закріплення поданого на уроці матеріалу. Але з метою підвищення мотивації навчання та створення благополучного емоційного фону я також використовую на уроці відео диск до підручника “Welcome”. Відео диск передбачає такі види роботи як презентація та закріплення вивченого лексико-граматичного матеріалу, підготовка до читання тексту, навчання діалогічному мовленню, питально-відповідальна робота, підготовка до монологічного мовлення та інше.
